【フィンランド留学生滞在記】自己紹介
はじめに
本校では，平成23年11月28日、フィンランドのトゥルク市にあるトゥルク応用科学大学と、学生や教職員の交流を柱とした学術交流協定を締結しました。この協定に基づき，今年度４月から３ヶ月間交換留学生を受け入れています。
例年，主に東南アジアから国費留学生やマレーシア政府派遣留学生を受け入れていますが，今回は初めて欧州からの留学生を受け入れることとなりました。釧路へ来たばかりの留学生はまだ緊張した面持ちですが，３ヶ月でたくさんの事を学んでフィンランドへ帰国してもらいたいと思います。
自己紹介編
この滞在記は、3名のフィンランド交換留学生が2012年4月5日に釧路に到着してから、寮生活や学校生活を立上げて、3ヵ月の留学体験をとおして色々感じた日本生活、学校生活などを語って頂く滞在記です。はじめに、この滞在記を立ち上げるにあたって、交換留学生で釧路高専に来ました3人に自己紹介をしてもらいます。
最初にアキ君から紹介します。
Dear reader. My name is Aki Riski and I am 23 years old student from Finland. In Finland I study in Turku University of Applied Science and in year 2012 I will graduate as a bachelor of electronic engineering. I am interested in history and I speak four languages: Finnish, English, Swedish and now Japanese.

皆さんへ 私の名前はアキ リスキ、フィンランド出身の２３歳です。現在母国のトゥルク応用科学大学で学んでおり、電子工学科を今年卒業する予定です。歴史に興味があり、四カ国語を話すことができます。（フィンランド語、英語、スウェーデン語、そして今は日本語も）
In our second weekend we went to Kamiya-sensei’s house to see Japanese house. Other foreign student came with us as well and we had fun time. First we ate lot of sushi and drank drinks. Later in evening we played poker game and loser had to eat sushi with lot of wasabi. In the end everybody lost the game. After that we played monopoly and game was surprising short, only 4 hours.
釧路に来て二度目の週末、日本の一般家庭を見るために神谷先生の家に行きました。他の国からの留学生も来ており、とても楽しかったです。まず私たちは夕食にたくさんのお寿司と飲み物をいただきました。夜にはポーカーをして、負けた人は大量のワサビが入ったお寿司を食べなければいけないという面白いルールでしたが、結局最後にはみんなが食べることになってしまいました。その後モノポリーというゲームをしましたが、時間を忘れ４時間もしていました。

次にアク君を紹介します。
My name is Aku Hosio and I`m 21 years old. I study Information Technology in TUAS and I like programming. I like playing pc games and going out with friends. I have studied Japanese language since high school as hobby. After I graduate I`d love to have job that allows me to interact with Japanese people or maybe even work in Japan.

私の名前はアク ホシオ、２１歳です。トゥルク応用科学大学で情報工学を学んでいて、プログラミングが得意です。趣味はパソコンのゲームや友人と出かけること。高校生の頃から趣味で日本語を勉強しているので、大学卒業後は日本の方々と交流する仕事に就いたり、実際に日本に来て働いてみたいです。
We were wandering around by bicycle with Aki on last Sunday.
先週の日曜はアキ君と一緒に自転車で周辺をまわりました。
We went to see dormitries freshmen welcome party, where first year students did a lot of odd gags, which were way more different than in Finland. It was a lot of fun and we had a good laugh.
高専寮の新入生歓迎会に招待された時の様子です。新入生が次から次とギャグ（一発芸）を披露したのですがそれが面白く、会場はとても盛り上がりました。フィンランドのギャグとはまた随分違っていますね。
We went to bath in Taito Onsen , it felt really good, nothing like normal bath. After bath we ate delicious softcream.
鶴居村にあるタイト温泉に行きました。普通のお風呂とは全く違い、とても良い気分でした。温泉からあがった後は美味しいソフトクリームを食べました。
最後にヤニ君を紹介します。
My name is Jani Virtanen. I’m 22 years old and my birth day is in 20 july. I study in Turku University of applied sciences. My main subject is mechanical and product engineering. Next year I will specialist in automation technology engineering. My hobbies are restoration old American cars and sport training in gym. I’m also interested in house architecture.

私の名前はヤニ ビルタネンです。７月２０日生まれの２２歳、現在トゥルク応用科学大学で学んでいます。大学では機械生産工学を専攻しています。来年には自動化技術工学のスペシャリストになっているはず。趣味は古いアメリカ車をレストアすることや、ジムでトレーニングをすること、また家の建築にも興味があります。
